| Getting
here
Gardenstown's
idyllic location certainly does not mean that it is difficult
to get to. Far from it, the village is very well served by
road, rail and air.
By
Car
The A947 is the most direct route from Aberdeen.
From Inverness the A98 to Banff is the best route. Once you
get to Banff, follow the signs for Fraserburgh (A98), which
will take you through Macduff.
When
you leave Macduff take the first turning on the left to Gardenstown,
(B9031). The Garden Arms Hotel is just off the High Street.

The Closest Train Station to The Garden Arms Hotel
is Huntley, which is 15 miles south of Banff. Gardenstown
has no Train Station of its own but we may be able to arrange
a transfer from Huntley or Banff. Guest are advised to check
the availability of transfers in advance of their visit.
By
Air
Aberdeen airport is well served by many major airlines.
British Airways flies daily flights from Birmingham and Easyjet
flies daily from London Luton. Prices are getting cheaper
all of the time so we advise guests to shop around and see
what is available.
