The Garden Arms Hotel is a small, friendly 18th century pub
and restaurant offering year round accommodation in the relaxed
and tranquil setting of Gardenstown in Banff, North East Scotland.
The unique and charming village of Gardenstown is one of the
most picturesque villages in Scotland and, unlike many Scottish
villages, has the added advantage of being largely midge free.
The Garden Arms Hotel is located within the heart of the village
on the west side of the main street and enjoys spectacular
views to the west over the sea.
Gardenstown
lies within a conservation area of special scientific interest;
our guests can experience the sea bird colonies, the delightful
dolphins and other marine life and the ancient rocks of the
area. There is also a whale and dolphin rescue centre located
within the village.
If you want to spread your wings a little, the Garden Arms
Hotel is also the perfect base to explore the beauty of North
East Scotland. Whether it is walking in the tranquil countryside,
playing golf in one of the 40 nearby golf courses, fishing
in the harbour, taking a boat trip around the bay or travelling
to the world famous Loch Ness, the Garden Arms Hotel will
